Buzzback to Christmas 2019, there was a buzz of excitement around the Freestone Hive thanks to Gazeley and their buzzy friends – the bees.

Gazeley, like Freestone, are very proud of their sustainability and environmental credentials – a number of their sites have purpose-built bee hotels to ensure the health and welfare of their bees on site. They call them G-Hives.

And of course, with bee’s comes delicious honey. .

. . .and with honey comes. . .

. . . Gin? Absolutely.

As a thank you to customers in the lead-up to Christmas – 300 bottles of London Dry Gin, infused with Gazeley honey and supplied with 3 small jars of natural honey were packed and delivered. All with a sustainable, environmental, bee-themed design and packaging.

– Gin bottles were wax sealed with 100% recycled bottle wax
– Then packed, with the small glass jars of natural honey, in specially commissioned honeycomb sleeves – made from recycled card packaging
– All wrapped up with Gazeley and bee-themed branding – again printed onto recycled stocks
– Finally, delivered world wide

All the waxing and packing (unfortunately no sampling) were done at the Freestone Hive, by hand, by us. We were very buzzy (too much?).
