Accommodation at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is hard to come by so, back in 2017, Porsche decided to build their own. With a little help from us.
They needed to accommodate 100 journalists for the World Premiere launch of the Mighty 911 GT2 RS at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
A plot of land next to the event was secured onto which we would install 100 modular temporary festival style bedrooms (some with en-suite bathrooms), shipped from Holland. To accompany this we would also go on to build a VIP hospitality venue – creating a ‘Hotel’ lobby, lounge, eating areas, a working kitchen and a large bathroom block complete with showers and toilets.
To cap it off, a “Pub Garden” chill-out style venue, with lounge seating, fire pits, covered areas and Live bands!
A true festival weekend was had by all.
