Following a successful pitch into The Childrens Society, we were commissioned to build a small-scale exhibition stand/installation at St Paul’s Cathedral. It was a great chance to work in such a historic building, although the sound of a hammer on wood certainly echoes around in there!
A one-day build schedule meant that the installation had to be pre-built and then dismantled prior to installation into St Paul’s.
The main concept was to provide a platform from which we could hang the work of many children who had been involved in the Good Childhood Enquiry… to enable visitors to the Church to gain an understanding of the issues surrounding childhood in the 21st century.
